[SOLVED] W8 not updating

Aura, It says it is not for this computer.
Maybe because I am running W8 Pro?

Now you can try to install your other Windows Updates. If they don't install, upload the two usual files for me to review again. But this update you just installed should correct the error code you were getting back then when you last tried to install updates and it failed.

The updates have been installed, but.....
I searched again for updates and the search came with the same 20 updates that were installed last night.
If I look in the history of the updates I see that the 20 updates are installed yesterday and that they failed today??????

Can you try to install them again? If they fail, give me the KB numbers of 3 of them and also upload the two files again.

Could be a glitch in the Windows Update history. Also, are you on Windows 8.1 now, or still on Windows 8?
 
I am still on W8 but i have the possibility to make an iso disk for the upgrade to W8.1
 
You can upgrade to Windows 8.1 via the Windows Store, without using an .iso. Simply open the Windows Store and it'll be the first option on the left. As for your 3 updates.

Above is the first update you listed. Try to install it, and let me know what message is being returned. I'm expecting a message saying that the update is already installed on the system.
 
The update was installed. I had to restart the system and now he is trying to install all the 19 updates again.!!!!!
The upgrade to W8.1 is not in my store. I found out that it is not there because I am using W8 pro!!

I haven't tried it yet, but will try it when the updates are rolled back again.
 
W8.1 upgrade syccesfull,and when I searched for updates I got the possibilty to upgrade to W10. That is what he is doing now. I think we have it under control now. I let you know it tomorrow. Thanks
 
Good news :) Windows 8 is a mess, the faster you can upgrade to Windows 8.1 when you can, the better it is.
