Weird Random BSOD

Oh. And for mem timing or cpu desynching, then it migth be the result of this.

- hey CPU, here is 150W oups 157W oups 143W oups 150W again sorry.
- hey RAM here is 10W oups 17W oups 8W oups 10W again sorry.

Then desynch because of o/c stuff (1666Mhz x 2 <> 3200 -> your RAM is rollbacking 4% of the time => adding CAS access times, it's 90% efficient I think)

RAM desynch is solved by, if my 20 year old course memory serves, CAS time + redo the access, CPU solve desynch by pausing.
I would make the hypothesis that CPU pausing 5% of the time isn't the best idea when dealing with hyperthreading multicore CPU.

This, more or less (expect less).

My not-funny-advice is always the same : don't o/c these hyperhreaded CPU unless you have ECC ram and perfect PSU loads. You're just adding some spaghetti sauce in a bicycle wheel : it's funny but not really clean. Clean cycles should be sacred, especially in gaming systems (or any real time systems), in my opinion.
I think that o/cing internet servers is dumb, for exemple. So why people are doing this on another RT system like a gaming system ?

Ok i forgot to mention i do have a surge protector. Even got a new one and a new power cable because of exactrly what you said, that was 4 days ago, didnt work.

the 1200w psu is a throwback to when i had crossfire.

I havent over clocked anything other than turning on XMP yesterday. I got the k because i heard they are picked for stabilty with overclocking so i thought it would be more stable over all and lessen the chance of well this mess i am in right now.

It does crash mostly at idle but its done it in a few games too.

We used to have that internet over power line, from the room im in to the main house, one of the plugs is still pluged in i think, i yanked mine out when we got a wi fi extender. Imma a go pull the other one right now, had no idea it had any affect on my pc!

Ok, keep in mind, I may have told huge BS. Really, really, take what I tell with a pinch of salt :)

For the CPL, if you had it with your 5 year old PSU then it should also be able to filter it. If there is a CPL network still doing stuff around I think there is a setting to change on your PSU, or a filter to use.

I'm just realising that "CPL" is the french acronym. It's called PLC, PLN, PLT or PDSL in english.

-edit- maybe the guy living next door use PDSL ? (you could sniff his internet connexion, btw)
-edit2- if this is it, this is a rare case of - by - gives a + :)

Right or wrong already tried it.

I just took it out, the one plug wasnt in (the one that pulgs into the router) so i just pulled out the other one, it was only there because i was lazy.

I live next door to my parents, i put all the shit in there in the first place id know if they were lol
