I just recently came across them and I'll have to say, I agree with you. I'm not a huge metalcore screamo fan but this group is impressive. The singer's vocal control is astonishing.
That riff is a mountain mover. The little 1/2 step bend in the 3rd postion on the "E" string (probably dropped C tuning) makes all the difference in the world.
Update: [USER=1372]@x BlueRobot[/USER] Now that I've had a few days to check these guys and gal out, I'll have to say, color me impressed. Versatile is not an adequate word. I hear a bit of the old school Morbid Angel in a few measures here and there. Then a bit of James Brown funk (not overtly obvious, obviously but I heard it). Really good production as well. The technical abilities of each member are off the charts. Very fresh. Anyway....
