I still use FF, but have tried using Chrome and IE for periods of time.

I have nothing against IE, and I don't think it's bad at all, but I prefer the flexibility and customisation of FF. For a period of time I used Chrome but it is a memory hog. I usually have around 20 tabs open, not masses, but it's still a few, and chrome was eating up RAM. I only have 6GB of RAM on this machine, and I multi-task heavily, so RAM usage is always an issue, especially with VMs as well. Doing some testing showed Chrome was using ~700MB of my RAM with only about 10 tabs open. FF was sitting on about 400MB with the same amount.

This is just my very quick testing, so take it with a pinch of salt. But other sites have reported the same thing --> Browser Speed Tests: Chrome 24, Firefox 18, Internet Explorer 10, and Opera 12.12 for example

However, FF is not perfect. It's not as fast and not as stable. But it's OK for me and that's all that really matters. :)

P.S - My FF has a Google Chrome theme on it ;-)
