Windows Server 2019 Datacenter edition, version 1809 (OS Build 17763.1911)
Hello! I am getting 0x800703f1 for several updates on several Win 2019 servers. I was able to resolve the problem on a Win 2019 Standard server by following the steps found here: Redirecting.
However, I followed those steps twice on a Windows Server 2019 Datacenter edition server and it failed to allow me to do an in-place upgrade to either Win 2019 or Win 2022 (both Datacenter editions). Whereas, this was not a problem for the Win 2019 Standard server. The goal isn't really to fix the updates, it's preferable to allow me to do an in-place upgrade to either Win 2019 or Win 2022 instead. However, the in-place upgrades keep failing until this problem is resolved. Starting from scratch is not a great option because it would take many hours to recreate the servers, configure server settings, install and configure extra software, etc.
Something unusual I noticed was that running DISM takes hours on this server compared to other servers, but it does get to 100% successful. It still continues to fail to install updates or allow any in-place upgrade though.
