After receiving the following error, Win7 would not boot:
"Window 10 couldn't be installed"
"Error found: 8007025D-2000C"
The attempted upgrade to Win10 reached 98% then reverted to the previous configuration of Win7.
However, it went into an endless loop BSOD.
Temporary solution: A previous version of the file bootcat.cache was copied to the folder C:\Windows\System32\CodeIntegrity\
Win 7 booted successfully; however...
The bootcat.cache file, which was 35MB, was rewritten to 3MB
I attempted to reboot and the endless loop BSOD occurred again until I replaced the bootcat.cache file with the 35MB file
sfc /scannow found no errors
chkdsk found no errors
I would like to fix the Win7 bootup problem and upgrade to Win10
Thanks for your input
