I find the whole workspaces thing a right pain actually. I installed the Debugging Tools for Windows on my laptop a couple of days ago, and can't get the symbol path to stick at the moment. I can set it fine, and then every time I change dumps, it goes back to being unset 
I'll let you know if I figure it out :)
