Windows 10 Fails To Boot

The following link refers to Azure and VM, but it specifies the identical file listed and the error code in your screenshot -

\windows\system32\config\system

NT STATUS/Exception error code - 0xc0000225

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4010138/windows-boot-error-0xc0000225-on-an-azure-vm

For info, here is the meaning of the exception error code -

0xC0000225
STATUS_NOT_FOUND
The object was not found.

BSOD Bugcheck NTSTATUS VALUES (EXCEPTION ERROR CODES)

So, Windows is unable to find \windows\system32\config\system - it is one of the files that Windows uses during boot-up to create the Registry.

The cause may be a problem with your hard drive as the SYSTEM file that Windows is looking for just does not disappear on its own.

Run hard drive diagnostics - SeaTools for DOS, LONG test - Hard Drive (HDD) Diagnostics (Sea Tools for DOS) & SSD Test

EDIT: Here is a thread from a W8 system - same procedure for W10 - Solved - A rather upsetting Win 8 problem

I built the system approximately 2 years ago. Here are the specs.

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

Here is the screen I get when I try to load the Windows Home Version.

Why are you attempting to load Windows 10 Home version when it is running Windows 10 Pro version?
