If the Hard Disk has passed the test after repair, I would suggest you to use the computer normally and see if you are still experiencing any problems. As of now, I would also suggest you to take a backup of the important data in case the hard disk fails again in the near future.

Please let us know in case you see any problems like random freezes or application freezes.

Hi, Pranav.

So, the fix is not permanent. Can we say how long the HDD could live? Isn't it more wise to change the disc instead of wait the next failure?

I guess that now I can reinstall Skype, ESET and MBAM.

Yes, the fix is not permanent. If you can get a new hard disk, that's the best solution :)

You can buy the hard disk and change it yourself as well. If you are not comfortable with the process, you can take the system to a computer store and ask them to change the hard disk :)
