Hi,
I've been having problems to install windows updates since months ago (I think it started back in December/2024 or November/2024, tho these two are recent). At first I ignored, because most of the search results for the failure and conditions were pointing to problems with .NET Framework version shenanigans, and were stuff that "could be fixed on a later date".
Fast forward a few months, and these updates keep failing with the same error as always (0x800f0922), and no amount of troubleshooting helped me: disabling, restarting and then re-enabling .NET Framework; cleaning WU cache; checking disk drive health & running scan disk. And now I'm having problems with video and audio, with high latency spikes out of nowhere. After finding and running LatencyMon, it showed both the NVidia driver and ACPI.sys as causes of the spikes. Updating the video drivers (that were just two updates out of date, for less than two weeks), solved the Nvidia driver latency spike, but not the ACPI.sys. But with that, I managed to find this forum via a thread about ACPI.sys latency spikes, and managed to follow the first steps to troubleshoot the problem (the steps that are generic, and not specific to user).
DISM checkup showed no problems and SFC check showed no problems either, although I had to run it as soon as the computer started, otherwise it would give me an error message about a ready to install update preventing the check.
Follow attached the CBS folder along with the result from the ComponentsScanner program (Components Scanner showed no issues, and I allowed the upload request).
Please, let me know if more information is needed.
