Hi @ClaytonM,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.

Hello,

I understand that many of you are quite busy monitoring other threads and looking into solutions to them respectively.

Is there anything else that you will need from me to assist in starting the troubleshooting process ?

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Please provide the CBS logs after trying to update again, the CBS.zip file in the first post does only contain the ComponentsScanner log.

Upload a copy of the CBS folder
  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\Windows\Logs folder.
  • Right-click on the CBS folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
  • Now the message will appear, "Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
  • Click on the Yes button here.

  • Attach the file CBS.zip to your next reply. If the file is too large to attach, upload the CBS.zip file to www.wetransfer.com and post the link in your next reply.

Hi,

Have you tried to upgrade using the following tool, if not please try. This also because the CBS logs are clean.

Download the
61c988c2082b1-updateassistent.png
Windows 11 Installation Assistant to your desktop.
  • Right-click on Windows11InstallationAssistant.exe and select the option: Run as administrator.
  • Press the Update now button, click after the compatibility check on Next.
  • The Update Assistant will now download the latest Feature Update.
  • After verifying the download, the Feature Update will be installed.
  • When this process is ready, click on the Restart now button to complete the installation.

Upon trying to run the tool, it alerted me to a disk space issue. Endpoint had 6 Gbs disk space and apparently needed more. Reclaimed 50 Gbs and ran tool again. Restarted endpoint and it continued to install the latest patches..
So kind of looks like we had a disk space issue rather than corrupted update files.

Showing as having Win 11 Pro 24H2 26100.3775

Thank you for the assistance
