Windows 7: Memory_Management BSOD twice, Please Take A Look

Well, I had a tech come over to my house, he tried but couldn't fix it so Ihe took it back to his shop and and said he probably has to reinstall Windows 7 or Windows 10 what a bummer

Where did you get the PC from?

I see in your photo the bottom left of the window has copyright Orbit30. This is not a real windows installation screen. Orbit30 is a crack tool for Windows - i.e a tool that allows activating windows without buying a genuine licence.

This likely means your install of Windows is not genuine. I'm not sure how you got to that screen, but this is not an official Windows installation screen

.a computer guy working out of his garage built the computer for me. Does the fact that is not legal have any bearing on the re-installing at his shop?

If it's the same guy, I'd be sceptical of him reinstalling a genuine copy of Windows if the original version he installed is cracked. Honestly though, you should be moving to Windows 10 regardless as Windows 7 is no longer supported.

My best advice would be to perform a genuine Windows 10 installation and see how the PC performs. I suspect the root cause of the issue is faulty RAM, but cracks (especially old cracks like Orbit30) can cause weird behaviour.

Per forum rules, we cannot assist with illegal copies of Windows, but we can assist you reinstalling a genuine version if you need help with that.

Actually I would very much like to fix this reboot loop if possible, I can't afford the repair shop price. Would anyone have any idea how to get out of that Loop?

Unfortunately no, and I do suspect that RAM is the root cause of BSOD issues, hence why I suggested that you ran the RAM test. I also suspect that boot loop is probably caused to some extent by the cracking tool.

I agree with @Tekno Venus, the best thing to do in this situation would be purchase a system which has genuine copy of Windows 10.

yeah it's in the shop now and they're going to install Windows 10. What a hassle it will be reinstalling all my programs and learning a new OS!

Thanks for letting us know - hopefully you can get up and running again soon.

If you have any issues with Windows 10, feel free to ask for help :)

OK I do have my first win 10 question!

I had XP for years then win 7 for the last few. How different will 10 it be from 7? Can anyone give me a link for the differences, or a good tutorial for win 10 new users?

Isn't there a shell / whatever, that makes it work more like win 7? Or would you suggest I just get used to it as is?

Windows 10 isn't too much different in comparison to Windows 7, I went from Windows 7 straight to Windows 10 with no issues. A few things have been moved around, but other than that, you should be able to transition quite easily.

Have a look through our tutorial section - Windows 10 Tutorials
