Windows 8 update error code: 80070BC9

hi, recently i tried to update my OS from windows 8 to 8.1 but it said that I've to download updates first so i opened the windows update and tried to download all the updates...I downloaded all of them but only two remained that didn't download and i kept getting this error code: 80070BC9 I ignored the problem as it wasn't that important for me to get 8.1 but after sometime i tried to install .NET framework 4.5.1 but i got another error HRESULT 0x80240017 I don't know if the 2 errors are connected or not but i figured i'd search for a solution to this problem first.I tried the following:# I downloaded a standalone version of both the missing updates KB2871690 , KB2871777 but i got this message " this update is not applicable to your computer" # I started the windows in clean boot and tried again but same errors again.I've attached the CBS folder as requested :)I hope you can help and thanks in advance :)

Can you boot into the recovery environment, and launch command prompt please: How to use the Windows 8 System Recovery Environment Command Prompt

When command prompt is launched, type in the following command and press enter:

DISM /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions

Then reboot your computer, booting into Windows normally. Try to update and if it fails again, upload your new CBS log please!
