I had this problem with Synergy version 4.1.17 and April 2014 Windows Updates on Windows 7 64 bit. Uninstalling Synergy immediately resolved the problem. Problem does not happen with the slightly older Synergy version 4.1.15.See also this thread: Bug #3980 - explorer.exe crashing - Synergy
