I tried the VIPRE firewall with their full suite, and had all sorts of conflicts on my previous Vaio notebook; so I dropped it. I am sure it's a good product and I have a lot of respect for all their products, but I agree with your statement about 3rd party firewalls. By the way, today I installed an update for PDF Converter on my notebook, and no problems at all. On Monday I will attempt a reinstall on my desktop. Let's see what happens.Regards to all,Willy
