Yeah... no... not really. You may have installed the exact same programs on each machine, but it is likely your notebook are very different - in terms of hardware and the drivers they use. And you did not say, but it appears your PC is running 64-bit Windows. Is the notebook?


The fact Nuance had a new update that fixed this problem suggests the problem was on their end. However, that is not to say a recent Microsoft update did not change something that the old driver was dependent on. That happens too.
