I am using Windows 7 - 64 Bit on a Dell XPS Laptop.I have just had this problem reoccur after spending 2 hours trying to solve it a couple of weeks back. The last time I ended up deleting the PDFCore8_x64.dll which only seemed to effect the plug-in PDF viewer in Outlook and the behaviour when a link to a PDF document was clicked from within an email. I have no idea how the problem has come back into existence as I don't recall doing any update on PDF Converter. I think the file is located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\PDF Professional 8\binAm just deleting it now and notice the date of creation of that file is 9/12/2011. I think there has been an update to PDF Converter 8 since. However, it caused further problems for me viewing PDFs so I had been going along quite happily until recently with the original installation of PDF Converter 8.I assume the problems have occurred due to a Windows 7 update in recent months which has somehow changed how the particular .dll is loaded.Would be interested to receive a link to any Nuance Patch for this problem.
