That "just the desktop" can use? Sorry, but I don't know what you mean by that but 100Gb of "free" disk space is gobs of free disk space - ASSUMING it is not excessively fragmented.That said, there is no limit to the amount of disk space the "OS" can use - because unless the OS is using those files, those files are ignored by the OS. That said, you can run out of drive letters.
