Thanks for the fix file. I have executed it and it requires a reboot which I will not be able to do until 11 PM EDT Tuesday, June 26th. I will reboot it and run the sfc /scannow then and send the results.

OK ...I just tried the Monthly Rollup from last month, KB4103725, it had been running for about 2 hours and the progress bar was only about 25%. I just cancelled it. I am going to try some of the new June 2018 released Microsoft OS Security patches. My guess is that the all will install except for any patch that has any IE components to install. Stay tuned.

OK ...just as I suspected. I was able to install the non IE related patch, KB4287903 (Security Update for Adobe Flash Player) but not the other 2 that have IE components. Here are the patches that have the IE components for this month ...

• The Monthly Rollup - MS18-06-MR81-4284815 (KB4284815)
• Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer - MS18-06-4230450 (KB4230450)

When attempting to install these 2 patches they both hang at the 25% mark as well just like the previous month's rollup.

I have attached the latest CBS.log file in a zip file.

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try installing the update just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log
