Windows Server 2019 windows update error 0x800703F1

Hello,

On a 2019 server I think I have a symptom similar to the one mentioned in this thread [SOLVED] - Windows Server 2019 cannot install KB5044277 error 0x800703F1.

Attempts to install updates via Windows Update always end in failure with the code 0x800703F1, I have already performed all the common actions to try to resolve the problem but without success.

By reading the setuppapi.dev.log file I can see the following failures:

sto: {Stage Driver Package: exit(0x000003f1)} 16:17:54.378
!!! sto: Failed to stage all driver updates. Error = 0x000003F1
!!! sto: Failed to determine status of driver update 'C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_dual_miradisp.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.17763.1697_none_2fd9a56a4455ccaf\miradisp.inf'. Error = 0x000003F1
! sto: Could not unstage all driver updates. Error = 0x000003F1
