Hey there!
I've been having trouble recently with a Windows Server 2022 Standard installation failing to install KB5049983 - 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems. The update will download and begin installing but fails when it reaches 100% with error 0x80073701.
I've attached to this post CBS.zip, ComponentsScanner.txt, COMPONENTS.zip, ComponentBasedServicing.zip, Packages.txt, and WindowsUpdate.log.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I have tried to troubleshoot the issue with the following methods, but have so far failed to resolve the issue:
- SFC /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Resetting Windows Update Components and update cache
After these did not work I reviewed the CBS log and found the following entries (among others) containing that error code:
