Is it okay if we try to remove it as part of troubleshooting process? Some of the issues seem to be xbox related...

Do not delete it just yet. I just want to know if it's okay to delete it...
 
Okay. I need just one more piece of information before we proceed:

Is the following folder structure present on the Server?

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\a1de5018018f29bccfa7c3e1a9d9e895\inst
 
Please take permission of the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\a1de5018018f29bccfa7c3e1a9d9e895, create the inst folder and copy the contents of the WinSxS folder from this post into it (NOT the WinSxS folder, but its contents, very important). Restore the permission back. Let me know when done.
 
Just noticed some of the files couldn't be copied to destination because file name was too long.20190908_232301.jpg20190908_232301.jpg
 
Rename them to something shorter so they can pass the limitation, but note down the full name, so you can rename them back to the correct name after copying.

Afterwards, retry updates.
