Hi, that does install some preloaded software (e.g. solitaire collection, tips, skype, etc...) but also throws a bunch of errors:


still, the ones i posted before are still broken, and some of the reinstalled ones (e.g. snip & sketch) are now broken too. clicking on them does nothing.

Try this other command:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Hi, Thanks for all your help.

I re-did the in-place upgrade with removing apps and that fixed it.

It also uninstalled all my programs but I was prepared to reinstall windows entirely anyway so I guess that's fine.

Now I basically have a fresh reinstall of windows, and everything is working as intended.
