Windows 10 Free Upgrade Offer

Microsoft said:
Free Upgrade Offer*

Great news! We will offer a free upgrade to Windows 10 for qualified new or existing Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices that upgrade in the first year! And even better: once a qualified Windows device is upgraded to Windows 10, we will continue to keep it up to date for the supported lifetime of the device, keeping it more secure, and introducing new features and functionality over time – for no additional charge. Sign up with your email today, and we will send you more information about Windows 10 and the upgrade offer in the coming months.

*Windows Offer Details

It is our intent that most of these devices will qualify, but some hardware/software requirements apply and feature availability may vary by device. The availability of the Windows Phone upgrade may vary by OEM, mobile operator, or carrier. Devices must be connected to the internet and have Windows Update enabled. ISP fees may apply. Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 Update required. Some editions are excluded: Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 8/8.1 Enterprise, and Windows RT/RT 8.1. Active Software Assurance customers in volume licensing have the benefit to upgrade to Windows 10 enterprise offerings outside of this offer. We will be sharing more information and additional offer and support terms in coming months.

Didn't work for me, I'm getting this error.

It asked if I gave the permission to the application to use my account, I accepted then the page became blank. Refreshed and got that error. I'll retry without uBlock Origin, it might be because of this.

Well apparently it worked. On both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, when I clicked the link, it opened the tab quickly and closed it. So I was about to go in my Hotmail account to see application permissions and see if it registered well, and I received an email saying that I was added to the list and it asked me to click on which version of Windows I was using. Once I did, it redirected me to another promotional page on Microsoft website. So it worked.

I saw that too but don't like that the only option there is to let that app access my info. When I select No, I get a totally blank page.

Plus I note I saw that offer via an email sent from windows@communication.microsoft.com which tells me they already have my info - so why do they need my info again? I don't sign into my computer now with my Microsoft account, I really don't want to change that.

I am beginning fear that this free W10 will give MS more spying power than Google. :(

When I select No, I get a totally blank page.

I selected Yes and I got a totally blank page too as well, when I refreshed it I got the error above. Looks like both way, the returning page is broken, but the choice is still sent anyway haha.
