Hello everyone,

I am having issues with my audio as the title reads and I believe it is similar to this thread: Windows 8.1 Sound "crackling" maybe high DPC latency which was solved.

I am showing a screenshot of the DPC Latency program with no audio/song running in the background and here's how it looks:

I would request the tech guys to kindly assist me to have it solved. A few points:
  1. I am using latest drivers on Win 8.1 x64
  2. Audio spikes etc. problems were in-existent on Windows 8 but asap I upgraded to 8.1 last year this problem cropped up and whatever I'd try, it'd never get fixed.

Be sure that your BIOS is the current version.

If you have an Internet Security suite installed like Norton, McAfee, KIS, etc... - remove it with the appropriate Removal Tool -

Also be sure that your audio drivers are updated. Go to the audio device manufacturer's support site for updates.

Regards. . .

I am using:
  1. the latest bios
  2. the latest drivers
  3. plus haven't got anything as you mentioned above i.e., Norton, McAffee etc., I don't have.

On this thread (as mentioned earlier in the first post), the guy was having same problem as me in the past and I'd be grateful if you could assist me in diagnosing the issue in the same way you have done for him.
