Internet Explorer 11 won't install - Results in Error Code 9C59

Windows 7 Professional SP1 32-Bit. When checking for Windows Updates, two updates are always shown and only two.

Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7
Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7

When trying to install these updates (even just one at a time) a failure code of 9C59 is returned. Internet Explorer 9 is currently installed.

I ran SFCFix. The contents of the log are below. During the run of this software I was asked to put in a Windows 7 CD/DVD however I didn't have one so continued on. My CBS directory was too large to attach so it will follow shortly.

Good news. This is resolved. I copied those files from another machine at the same OS/Arch/Patch level. I then re-ran SFCFix and it was clean but I still had the same issue. But at this point I uninstalled IE9, rebooted and then installed IE11 and it worked!!!

I think you could have tried downloading the Internet Explorer from the Microsoft Website over this link -

Sorry for the delay in getting back you. Can you please do the following just to make sure all the corruptions have been repaired.

SFC /SCANNOW

1. Right click on the
   
   button
2. Click on Command prompt (Admin) => Press Yes on the prompt
3. Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command SFC /SCANNOW
4. Please wait for this to Finish before continuing with rest of the steps.

Convert CBS.log to CBS.txt

1. Right click on the
   
   button
2. Click on Run => Inside the run box copy and paste the following command:
   

   cmd /c copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"

3. Press Enter
4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Please upload CBS.txt to this thread
