Hi all,

First up as this is my first post i'd like to a. say a big hello to all the forum members and b. having viewed some of the threads would like to give a big :thumbsup2: to the techies who help to fix these issues - Great work peps.

So the issue as stated is that i'm running Windows 7 Ultimate and have tried to install SP1 but it fails every time - this seems to be a fairly common issue?

I have tried all fixes suggested elsewhere on the interwebway; Systems Update Readiness Tool, repair windows image fix (DISM), manually installing SP1 etc. but unfortunately it keeps failing with the CheckSUR log showing the same items as missing

From the above it would seem that I am short a couple of files that are required in order to carry out the update but am not to sure where to get them from or how to go about installing them should i find them?

unfortunately running niemiro's SFCFix was unable to rectify the problem:

Please see below for the zipped CBS.log folder, but before i do here's the twist! I'm not sure if it makes any difference but this install of Windows 7 Ultimate is running inside Parallels 10 on Yosemite OS 10.10.1 on my Macbook Pro 4,1 (early 2008).

Could really do with some help on this as i'm not really a tech guy. Any and all help is very much appreciated
:banghead:

Cheers
