Hi there and thank you in advance for this service. I ran the SFCFix tool and the output seems to show that something was fixed... but when I try running sfc /scannow, I still get the same errors. Below is the screen output and I have attached the CBS.zip file.

SFCFix version 2.4.5.0 by niemiro.
Start time: 2015-12-02 16:17:04.296
Microsoft Windows 8.1 - amd64

Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks.

Can you tell me if I should be looking at another posting that has the same exact condition?
I have been searching the forum but a lot of those are stating that the fix only applies to that specific user.
Which means I should not use those solutions that have that statement... right?
Thanks and I hope my issue gets reviewed soon!

Please download and install this update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2969339

When complete, run DISM again then zip and attach C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log with your reply.

Hi zcomputerwiz,

I have applied that patch and it seems to have installed successfully. I re-ran the SFCFix and have attached the output and CBS.log file (as a zip).

Thanks.

Looks like it isn't able to connect to Microsoft's update servers.

Have you tried restarting your computer and router/modem/etc. ?

Hi zcomputerwiz,
Thanks for checking the new log files.
I looked into my laptop and it had an issue with the network icon and a yellow exclamation point. This turned out to be that the Network Listing Service was not started because the Windows Log service had issues starting. Once I fixed the Windows Log issue and restarted the NLS and NLA, I was able to update to the latest Windows 8.1 update. That is past the point I have ever gone... so this is great!
Now I am in the process of upgrading to Windows 10. Still running at the moment but I wanted to write this up while I am waiting to give you and sysnative.com a big THANK YOU.
Regards.

Glad to hear you figured it out :)

I'll mark the thread solved. If you encounter any problems, please post back.
