Hello, I have an issue with windows update.

I've done sfc /scannow or chkdsk C: /r, I have no corrupt file reported.
Looking at different forums, I've run Dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth and in my log C:\Windows\Logs\CBS CheckSUR.log, there was 2 CSI C Mark Deployment Missing linked to avast.
It seems that the problem occured during an update of avast, to solve it, I updated avast to the last version today but it added 6 CSI errors. Then I've uninstalled avast with avastclear and run Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64.msu, but it didn't solve the problem and i've still 8 CSI errors in the CheckSUR.log:

Since I've run SFCFix.exe but it didn't solve my problem. However it indicates :

Can you help me ?

Hello, I solved my problem thanks to another post of
zcomputerwiz, the solution that works fine is :

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put
    Code:
tags around the log to break up the text.

SFCFix.zip

Once SFCFix has finished, run the System Update Readiness Tool again.
When SURT has completed, attach C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log with your reply.

Hello,

I have succedeed to clean my checksurlog using the previous post, my checksurlog is now the following View attachment CheckSUR.log
A test with sfcfix reports no error, I have run the tool Windows Repair (All-in-One) Portable as I found some 0x800f0805 in my CBS.log
View attachment CBS.zip)
following the instructions set here:

However, when I launch windows update, it runs endlessly (I let it 18hours without a result) and when I launche the WindowsUpdateDiagnostic, it says for windows update that :
windows update error 0x80070490.
I don't know what to do more, can you help me ?

Hello,

I finally found a solution. I installed Windows6.1-KB3020369 and fater a restart and a new launch of windows update, it works !
It seems that installing Windows6.1-KB3172605 is recommended before installing Windows6.1-KB3020369, on my computer Windows6.1-KB3172605 was already installed so i just needed the 2nd one.

I hope it will help
