[SOLVED] [Win7SP1 x64 French] Unable to update KB3110329, KB3181988.

Hi, I have an issue with 2 Windows 7 updates : kb3110329 and kb3181988. I tried installing them one at a time but still got the same result. Everything seems to go well until I reboot the computer. A progression screen appears and when it reaches 7%, it fails and update installation is reverted. Untill now I tried a tool by askVG (batch file to reset windows update/WUreset.bat) with no success. I also tried to run windows update troubleshooter with no success. the error code for both update failure is 80070003. Note that my issue is very similar to one you solved:
Unable to update KB3110329 Windows 7X64
but as indicated, I did not follow the specific instructions you gave this guy.

I'm still working on sending my cbs content, but the file is pretty large(26.1GB before compression) and still copying to my desktop. Do you think I will be able to upload it as is?

I finaly managed to compress my cbs file to 1.73Go. I tried to follow the large file upload procedure here:
Windows Update Forum Posting Instructions
but I get a dropbox error message that states the file is no longer here when trying to download SFCFixScript.txt.

Please zip and upload the required CBS.log file somewhere else. OneDrive and Mega are just a few examples.

You can safely delete the contents of C:\windows\logs\cbs to clear up some space and to make things easier for us.

Add Missing Packages
 1. Click the Start button and type cmd.exe in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following lines and hit enter after each one.
pnputil -a c:\windows\WinSxS\amd64_wdmaudio.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.19091_none_be33a73631090804\wdmaudio.inf

pnputil -a c:\windows\WinSxS\amd64_usbport.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.23529_none_1c6c03bd334e9c20\usbport.inf

4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.

  2. Download the attached file, SFCFixScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFixScript.txt - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFixScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCFixScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.

Re: [Win7SP1 x64 - French] Unable to update KB3110329, KB3181988.

I booted in a clean boot state and installed the required drivers. They installed properly without any hiccups as in post #9.

I then tried to install the updates inside Windows update. The updates installed properly.

Then I rebooted and the updates (that seemed to be properly installed in Windows update) failed to install while the rebooting was occuring.

Just in case (I don't know if you still need them), attached to this message are the new CBS.log and setupapi.dev.log
