Hello, and thanks in advance for your time!
For a bit of context:
It all started when I tried to upgrade my Win7 Professional x64 to Win10 a week ago via the Media Creation Tool. Long story short: it failed right before the finish line with a
I'm mentioning it because even though that's not what I'm directly trying to fix by seeking for help here, that's still my "long" term goal.
I've spent the past week looking for the possible causes and their resp. fixes to no avail.
While trying to correctly apply all the possibly needed Windows Updates, I ended up not being able to install both KB4054518 (which is pretty old!) and KB4480970. (first part of what I would like to fix here)
Both fail with Code 80073701.
Also, at some point, I went through the CHECKSUR feature and discovered that my old friend has been accumulating some serious errors over these years: Approx. 1120 errors were reported!
Here we are, this present weekend, and I already downloaded 59 individual updates from the catalog and ran a pretty decent amount of DISM to try fix all those. I'm down to 49 errors, but I can't seem to go any further without assistance. (second part of what I would like to fix here)
The remaining errors are attributed to 3 updates:
You know it all!
SFC scan didn't find anything, SFCFix couldn't do anything (View attachment SFCFix.txt) and here can be found my CBS
Again, thank you for your time.

- The vast majority come from KB2952664 and KB3172605, both of which I actually downloaded and updated through DISM. That didn't fix anything. Digging a bit into the cab files, I noticed that they apparently don't contain the version of the packages that my DISM is actually waiting for: for example the errors regarding KB317260 are labelled [...]6.1.1.2.mum but the ones present in the cabs are [...]6.1.1.4.mu. I also tried manually uninstalling these 2 updates trough wusa /Uninstall and then reinstalling with the newer updates but that didn't fix anything.
- The last one is KB3210131, which I can't seem to find within the catalog.
