Essentially, I have the same problem as BeeDamned. I know you guys need to see my CBS folder to help me fix my issue, but when I try to make the CBS folder into a ZIP, it says "File not found or no read permission". Sorry. Regardless, I tried BeeDamned's fix and I attached the Command Prompt log.
Please help. I'm having the same issue as BeeDamned and I really would like some help.

Hello again!

Thank you so much for making a new thread. I do really need to see those CBS logs to proceed, so I'll try another method.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe from [sfcfixdownload]this link[/sfcfixdownload] and save it to your Desktop.
  2. Download the attached file, SFCFix.txt, and save this to your Desktop also.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a log should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

There you go, niemiro. It doesn't look like much, but I hope that it helps.

Well, what do you know! The CBS logs have appeared just above your post :)

[SFCFix is integrated into the website, which is pretty cool]

Having consulted with your logfiles, I need to collect some more data. We'll see if SFCFix's Collect:: can work it's magic a second time.

Thank you,

Received that file too, thanks :)

I feel like I'm chasing my tail here. :p This really should be the final upload, then we'll look into a fix.

Then please download the Freeware RegBak from here: Acelogix Software - Download products

Navigate to C:\Windows\RegBak\{Date}\ and copy the COMPONENTS file to your Desktop. If the COMPONENTS file does not exist, please fetch it instead from C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS.

Now right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.

Then please upload it to your favourite file sharing website (it will be too big for here). If you have a Microsoft Account, SkyDrive could be a good choice: https://skydrive.live.com/, but any other will do just fine. Make sure to set the file as publicly accessible.

Then send me a link to the file.

Thank you.

Richard

The COMPONENTS thing seems to be 4 files.
One doesn't have an extension, is 42 MB, one is a Text Document that is 1 KB and has only a few lines of gibberish, and there are two files with the extensions LOG1 and LOG2. Which should I send you?
