Sysnative BSOD Dump + File Collection App [Detailed] Output Explained

Thank you, but we will continue to use ours - originally written by me in 2007/8 and updated by several others since then. We all are very used to it by now.

The Sysnative/jcgriff2 Kernel Dump and System File Collection App has over 1 million downloads to date -- all versions combined and works just fine for us.

Besides, Sysnative Forums being its home base, Bleeping Computers, TechSupportForun (TSF), Malwarebytes (MBAM) and others use it for BSOD threads as well as for general troubleshooting purposes as well.

Something to note when using the BSOD File Collection App with Windows 11.

The EvtxSysDump.txt and EvtxAppDump.txt files do not contain much useful text as many of the system entries are just not being extracted correctly from the Windows 11 event viewer.

It might be necessary to find a different way of extracting the data from Event Viewer.

We could probably write a simple C# application to handle getting the event log information. It'll be more robust and easier to maintain than our current implementation I feel.

That's what I've used but exported to an .evtx file instead of a .txt file.
