There are no advantages to doing this and can cause problems. Windows Defender alone is an acceptable security suite. It's integrated with the OS and full featured. If you decide to use a 3rd party AV, keep Eset and get rid of Avast. Please use the AV's own uninstaller. Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast

For everyone's convenience, here is the topic at BC: Over 100+ Svchost running, bypasses factory rest , possible EUFI boot infected - Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Help Actually, the reason you were referred to Sysnative was the result of the SFC scan and not the SecurityCheck log: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag. Click to expand... And here is your CBS log: CBS.log Last edited: Apr 30, 2024

Download SFCFix and save it to your desktop. Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system. Save any work you have open, and close all programs. Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop. Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it. SFCFix will launch, let it complete. Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt. Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply. Step 2. Afterwards reboot the system and run the System File Checker gain and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log. Code: SFC /Scannow Attachments SFCFix.zip 292.1 KB · Views: 1
