Like the Toyota Corolla has been the Corolla since 1966 but surely no one believes the 1966 is the same car as the 2021 model. Or "Microsoft OS" will work for me too. A fancy new name is not going to make me run out and upgrade all my systems.

How many users say "Windows 10" when they're referring to their operating system? Almost everyone just says "I'm using Windows".
