When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area. Press the Scan button. On your machine parts of both AV programs are running which may influence each other. Having more than one AV program can also delay your machine. Most likely it has nothing to do with the HP issue. I just noticed it. Uninstall "HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series" completely. Restart the machine. Disconnect the printer from your machine. Install "HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series" again. Here you can find a download link Connect the printer when the installation software asks for it. Does that help ?

ESET Internet Security is leightweight but has limited support (November 2024). No idea if MSE is still good enough and protect W7 much better than ESET.

P PeterJ Moderator, Windows Update Expert, Security Analyst Staff member Joined Dec 14, 2014 Posts 13,719 Jun 30, 2024 #217 ESET is probably better then MSE. Both should be good enough however. ESET v16.0, the one you installed, is the last one available for Windows 7. Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator". Press the Fix button. The tool will now process fixlist.txt. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply. Attachments fixlist.txt 44 bytes · Views: 1
