Win 7 32bit new Install Windows Update error 80080005

Do not install above updates yet.

Copy the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop.
Zip the copied file and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.
 
So I reinstalled Win7 SP1
Tried Windows update windows update but got 80072EFE
Google suggested I needed the Windows Update Client update 2016 (kb3138612)
Obviously you cant use Windows Update to get this so I got it from Windows Update Client for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2: March 2016 - Microsoft Support which provides links to the files.
Then Windows update works (just under 1GB of updates taking 5 hours)

Windows update reported 73 updates OK and 44 updates failed with error codes
800B0109; 800F0902; C000001D


So I rebooted and tried Windows update again
Now only 4 important updates
They all failed with 800
 
For 800b0109 google suggested windows defender might need updating (Firewall was off) but I doubt it was window defender because online virus checking was turned off But anyway I tried to update windows defender but updating defender failed with 80072f8f (but date and time is correct)

Windows Update troubleshooter 'discovered' the missing 43 updates that did not work first time so I tried them again
This time 35 worked and 8 failed with error codes 800B0109 and 800F0902
But the computer would not reboot. and on investigation it seems winload.exe has been changed which kb447419 seems to do.

So I restored the system to its position after the first set of updates
Checked for updates and found 43 updates still to do (including the troublesome kb447419)

sFc /scannow reports no integrity violations
 
Because you already installed some updates we might be in a state like before.
Provide a screenshot or screenshots of the available important updates. Please do NOT do anything else.
 
I have a system image at post install and another at the current state
I dont think we will be in the same state because of the partial success in installing windows updates

I do hope we are not going through these 1 at a time?!
Surely better to do half then restore if it doesnt work and do 1/4 etc

No, please be patient and install the updates in the given order.

Try to install KB2564958 only.
If successful try to install KB2579686 only.
If successful try to install KB2620704 only.
If successful try to install KB2631813 only.
If successful try to install KB2653956 only.
Report the result.
