Just a fyi still things arent working, It wont open device manager still, wont let me create restore disk or run win 10 updater for a repair disk, Still tries to do a disck check every reboot

Re: SFC fails so does DISM.

A disk check? Hmmm... Let's see... Please ONLY provide a screenshot of the attributes tab.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Execute gsmartcontrol.exe; Let the install complete and launch the programme.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;

Re: SFC fails so does DISM.

Noob question, How, i have a D drive thats my backup, what should i put in it so i dont loose anything and can i just copy it back over to a new SSD when i get one

Re: SFC fails so does DISM.

Aha, you have the data backed up. That's good. No, you cannot just copy it back onto a new drive since this install has been corrupt apparently. However, do one thing:
Open GSmartControl and provide Attributes for that D: drive to verify that one is good. :)

Re: SFC fails so does DISM.

Well its not really a backup i just named it that, i had the ssd then a 2nd terabite hDD that i just store crap on. Windows wont let me set it up to back up stuff

Re: SFC fails so does DISM.

Do you know if i just have a crappy SSD or did the virus do it?
