Hi softwaremaniac,

That did something, but hasn't really worked.
FRST output the Fixlog.txt but hasn't actually 'finished' - it's in some kind of loop with the message 'Fixing is in progress, please wait...'
In any case, it has produced an output file.

I tried Windows Update, it started the install but failed around 45% way thru, error code: 80070020.

Please delete all your System Restore Points and try Windows Updates again. If FRST is running, close it.

Delete all old System Restore Points and Previous versions of files

Looks like they're all optional to me..

I do have the Brother printer and I think my wireless is the Realtek.

Safe to ignore?
