[8.1] Random/Frequent ntoskrnl.exe BSOD's

Everything else looks fine, nothing is highlighted in red (which the help item says that is not good) so I'll go ahead and apply the changes, and see if anything happens.
 
Actually, under Advanced DRAM I found a thing called DRAM Timing Mode, if I select it I get Auto, Link, and Unlink. if I select Link It shows me a ton of values that I don't really understand (stuff like Cas Latency, trcd, trp)
Is that what we were looking for?

All those values when I first open the Link setting are set to Auto
 
No, I have those settings too, but why should I complicate my life when I have that simpler setting?
Just set the DRAM frequency to 1333 or 1066 and (in theory, or with hope) you'll be fine.
 
I'm not sure how I could replicate the blue screen as it seems very random, should I try to log in and get the drivers updated?
 
Hah, yeah hopefully not.
(I did get a blue screen that was like, pointer reference before I restarted to get to bios, all I did was update the network driver and uninstalled the graphic driver)
 
...so it blue-screened again, system_service_exception

I'm at a loss here, I have 0 idea what the problem is and I'm getting really frustrated with this.
 
My current thoughts are thinking that its the Graphics Card, I think its faulty. Cause I had a red-screen of death earlier instead of a blue-screen, restarted like a blue screen but gave no .dmp file...
 
At this point I'd advise to get the system serviced. I think this may be hardware related, but while red screen of death does point to the GPU drivers or the GPU itself, without swapping it for another one and trying to use the PC, I can't be sure that is the issues. I'd always start hardware troubleshooting from RAM and then move up the ladder :)

Alright well, I've done tests on the RAM and it came out fine, judging by the Memtests I've done.
I've clean wiped and reinstalled the GPU drivers provided by Xiloee, and it didn't really seem to change much, blue-screened within 20-30 minutes of use, just browsing Steam and having one Chrome tab open.

I really appreciate the help, it's been a good experience. Any particular place I should get the PC serviced, say for example a local store or Best Buys geek squad?
I've already been looking at another graphics card (if the card is indeed the problem) I'm going to take it out this Thursday, clean it, and put it back in and see if it helps. I doubt it will but it does not hurt to try.

My gut feeling tells me its the GPU, I could be wrong but I have to figure it out in some form or fashion. Once again thanks for the help, and would taking it to Best Buys Geek Squad be a good option?
 
The tests do not have to indicate erorrs, that's the hard part. Just recently, I've had a case of RAM that simply started misbehaving and crashing computer randomly, although I have tested every single component in the machine and they all passed, it was only when I replaced RAM that everything went back to normal.
About where to take the PC... I'm based in Europe and I'm not familiar with these, so xilolee might be able to help you with that one. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.
 
Huh, well that's something to consider then. Sadly I don't have the money to really just buy some RAM currently, probably wont for awhile.

No need to be sorry, just thought I'd ask, you've been more then enough help trying to solve my issue and I'm grateful for it.
