[SOLVED] After sleep mode BSOD: Driver_power_state_failure

Well this isn't making much sense at all...

I'm seeing different things in every log. Please run sfc /scannow again, and upload the latest CBS folder. From what I can tell, the issue you had in your original post:

Code:

Has been fixed, but I would like you to run SFC once more please.

Once this is done, Patrick can finish the BSOD analysis :)

I will leave you in Patrick's very capable hands moving forward, since the SFC corruptions are now resolved.

The default path for Small memory dumps is C:\Windows\Minidump. If it's set to Kernel, it's C:\Windows and they are called MEMORY.DMP and are overwritten every time the system crashes.

We're still seeing *9F Intel Rapid Storage crashes. Regardless of what Intel's site says about not uninstalling it, let's go ahead and uninstall the driver. You can do this through the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program menu (unsure of exact name in Windows 8).

Patrick

I can't find Intel Rapid Storage in uninstall menu, but I found it in Device Manager. It calls Intel(R) 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller. Kill them?

Good work. IRST is known to cause issues on some systems. Keep me updated as the next few days go by on whether or not the crashes have ceased.

Patrick
