It's a little difficult to follow your post - but the BSOD you were seeing is related to the integrity of your system, in particular security settings. The BSOD is Windows flagging that your system has become "non-trusted", and that it's no longer able to verify that essential files have not been modified.

Changing permissions for system folders could be a possible reason for this. It could also be a third party virus that made its way onto your system, and disrupted some system files.



We would encourage you to keep AV enabled on your system at all times. Even trusted websites can be hacked and inadvertently distribute malware, and you're taking a lot more risk than most consumers by still running Windows 7.

Well, if the installer folder is defect you get other faults. As I told the files were ok and add. replaced from a running 7 system but no change. So the files responsible for the suveillance are defect, faulty or lacking. Strict logical. But that you come to the roots and reasons.
Lots of freaks say you do not AV software if you behave correct. I tested it and never have problems.
But if a good scanner would repair. And even if the scanner is not successful you have a backup.
Some times a make a backup every day.
In this thread the system was running even with the faults seen by event viewer.
Because the system is some years old it works fine and is faster than 8.1 or 10.
10 speed was improved after the last upgrade.
But 10 get got faulty updates in the past, see German c't.
So I do not like MS, I am more an MS hater.
Sometimes you repair your PC more than use it and lose time !
I need it for all my work no gaming no fun.
In former times in internet forums I encountered more specialists.
Today in Germany you only see make a recovery, make a new installation, use chkdsk, use sfc.
But not much more.
Rare people analyse the system and the faults.
But this should be done though take time, energy and thinking.
If you have one problem not solved by recovery and backup same problem can emerge a 2d time.
So analysis and effective repair would be best.

Why did I change permissions at folder installer what was the reason for the problems ??
Normally you can sb call call crazy if he did this !
In former times the system was ok, fast and running.
But I got problems with permissions.
I do not knwo why.
But in registry I encountered a user profile called "Thomas Mettin" which was deleted by me.
Up today I do not know the reason of that and where it comes from.

Why is the system not ok when delivered ? Or every 6 months but every month ??

Because vulnerabilities are discovered, usually by hackers, in the coding and hackers use these to infect computers.

If you don't take the computer on the internet, then you don't have to patch it. I removed the security programs from an XP computer, after I pulled it off our network and it no longer goes on the internet. I can still do what I need to do on that computer. That's why I haven't e-cycled it yet.

Ok, but why not avoided them from the beginning ?? Or only updates every half a year if coding is correct or more perfect ??

Yes, but the system files were not defect but the surveillance. So which files/ progams do that ?? (Installer files were defect.)

The only advantage I see in newer windows versions are better drivers. But the systems are not faster than 7 on the same hardware.
But all sending more information to microsoft.
Concerning drivers:
I have too attached USB 3.0 sticks 64 GB.
Corsair Voyager GS and Sandisk Extreme.
Corsair with 7 Read/write 170/60 MB/sec
Extreme 180/80.
With 10:
Corsair 280/100,
Extreme 280/120.
So better drivers.
What would happen if I exchange drivers, take those from 10 to 7 ??

If they do not work this is sth is happening !
So if I exchange disk.sys....
Perhaps I try this if there are problems I reverse it.
I tried to post to the other guy in the part for 7 who had allegedly some corrupt system files and freezing of PC.
I guess there is no correlation.
Because I also had that in the past but system works fine only some smaller problems.
If I want to write there I read under the thread: you have insufficient privileges......
Perhaps because I might be crazy, always opponent of normal society and living in Nazi Germany ?? ^^
Why do you ask me whether my flat is locked or not ??
Maybe I live under the bridge in a tent but I pay attention concerning my property though I had intrusion 2 times by criminals.
Before I tried to access this forum with edge now in chrome, in edge I could not log in: there was a popup there is a security problem !
What is that ??

If had no viruses the last 20 years, nothing.
I use Kaspersky Internet Security.
If I visit pages who are not secure or infected all is blocked.
And every suspicious download blocked or deleted at once.
