There should be no need to update the BIOS/UEFI.

I know it's not your PC, but the instructions should be the same. Follow these to try and boot from the CD - Acer UEFI Boot From CD/DVD (AXC-605-ER30)

hello sir. I'd waited for 4 hours for the short test then i realized theres no progress. test progress bar doesnt filling up with color blue. i ran it several time but its always hang up that i could not click anything nor abort the test. I have 35.5 gb free of 450 gb. maybe theres to little space or something?. thank you.
