BSOD error code 0x0000001E keep crashing

Don't get yourself worked up just yet, your issue may be entirely unrelated although it may appear to be the same. The underlying problems may be different. Change the driver to the beta and keep us updated : )

Patrick

We could have got more information about the registry key, by doing a !reg findkcb with the full path of the registry key, and then using the !reg kcb with the address provided by the !reg findkcb extension. I've demonstrated it in my latest blog post.

I'm Sorry but I'm too Scared now is it a bad problem ? in a hardware or what u mean as I don't know when I used those registrys

Don't worry, I was just indicating to the others, that the nVidia graphics card driver might have a common bug. It may even have been fixed in the Beta version.

Thanks x BlueRobot I'll Install the Latest Best and See if it fixed or not and back with updates

I also faced this annoying problem 2 weeks ago. But i fixed it with the help of my friends's instructions, now my computer is running perfectly. So i would also like to share those tips with you. I suggested these tips to many peoples and they have solved their problem. Here's the tips:

- Disconnect incompatible hardware
- Check and repair disk errors
- Perform System Clean-Up with Reginout
- Scan for Malicious Content
- Run System File Check Up

Hope it will also works for you. Good luck

X BlueRobot, I know that already before from this Thread maybe and never try to use them.

I had 3 problems are the most appearing those days in my windows System via Evient Viewer :

1- Name resolution for the name www.msftncsi.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

2- The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot.
.
3-The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load VDiskBus.

Any suggests about them will be much appreciated

Networking isn't my area of expertise, but you may want to read this article to get an understanding of the error - Windows 7 Network Awareness: How Windows knows it has an internet connection « Super User Blog

The third error is related to a program called ASUS Disk Unlocker, please open up MSCONFIG, and then go to the Startup tab.

How to open MSCONFIG:

Start >> Type: msconfig into the Search box >> Select Startup >> Check to see if ASUS Disk Unlocker is present.

Did you remove the Disk Unlocker program?

I would also check for any corrupt or missing files with the System File Checker. Instructions are available in the link.

about the Disk Unlocker Program, Yes I un-installed it but the error is Still and I just finished System File Checker and here is the result :

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

Here is the attached logsView attachment CBS.rar

Okay, that will explain why Windows is failing to load the driver for the program, there may be some remnants of the program left.

Please download Autoruns for Windows and then save the output of the file as a .ARN file, and place in a zipped folder and upload to the forum, by clicking the Go Advanced button, and selecting the paperclip icon. Check the Logon and the Services tab for anything related to ASUS Disk Unlocker, and then post a screenshot too.

don't think that I can find a not found files locations in AutoRun as I already had it So I found the file and others to the same Program and others are unchecked cause of not found

Do not run Reginout, it's a registry cleaner, and these programs do more harm than good.

Dear, but when i had faced this problem so i scanned my PC with Reginout, now my PC performance is better then before. Yes, i agree with you that some registry cleaner are harmful for PC, but that cleaner are free. That's why i don't believe on free products. Thanks

Registry cleaners do not improve performance, it was likely placebo and/or you made other changes to the system at the time that may have actually improved its performance.

---------------------------------------------------------------

First off, one big thing about registry cleaning is it is by no means and should not be a computer maintenance task. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies every week? Great, no harm there. Running your favorite registry cleaner every week? NOT GREAT.

If we're being honest and straightforward here, cleaning the registry is an entirely unnecessary thing to do. So far, what I've said makes it sound like I despise registry cleaners. Do I? No, I don't despise them, but as I said, they are unnecessary and if used carelessly can render your Operating System a paperweight.

So why would you even use a registry cleaner in the first place? Well, they have to do something right or they wouldn't even be allowed to be sold (if paid for) or if they were free (CCleaner for example) there would be a huge backlash, more than what there already is in IT with regards to opinions based on registry cleaners.
Registry cleaning software is useful mainly for one thing, and it can be done very well depending on the algorithm the cleaner software itself is using, and that's removing remnants of old uninstalled software or entries with now invalid path names. At times, it can also possibly be useful for removing traces of malware that may have been stored in the registry that was not successfully removed after running a virus scan, etc.

Other than that, it's not going to do anything. It will not increase your system's performance by any means whatsoever. Nothing noticeable. A 'smaller registry' in theory would have one assume that things load faster, etc, but in reality there is no performance difference whatsoever.

For reference, take a look at this:

Mark Russinovich (Author of the "Bible", Windows Internals, co-founder of Winternals and Sysinternals, and since both companies were bought by Microsoft, now a senior Microsoft employee) was asked:

Hi Mark, do you really think that Registry junk left by uninstalled programs could severely slow down the computer? I would like to 'hear' your opinion.

No, even if the registry was massively bloated there would be little impact on the performance of anything other than exhaustive searches.

On Win2K Terminal Server systems, however, there is a limit on the total amount of Registry data that can be loaded and so large profile hives can limit the number of users that can be logged on simultaneously.

I haven't and never will implement a Registry cleaner since it's of little practical use on anything other than Win2K terminal servers and developing one that's both safe and effective requires a huge amount of application-specific knowledge.
So, to sum all of this up:

Q: Will using a registry cleaner increase the speed and/or performance of my system?

A: No.

----

Q: Why would I even use a registry cleaner then?

A: I personally wouldn't use one whatsoever and would find the problem you're specifically having and take care of it manually. That is much safer. However, the main use of registry cleaners is to again as stated above, remove remnants of old uninstalled software or entries with now invalid path names. At times, it can also possibly be useful for removing traces of malware that may have been stored in the registry that was not successfully removed after running a virus scan, etc.

----

Q: What is the true danger of using a registry cleaner?

A: You have to remember what you're using is an automated tool that is not perfect by any means. You are putting your trust in an automated tool to be absolutely sure every key it is about to delete is 100% unnecessary. At times, and I have seen it personally myself PLENTY, it can delete a very important key that is necessary to the functionality of your Operating System in some form or another.

----

Q: What if my registry is corrupt, will running a registry cleaner help?

A: Absolutely not.

Regards,

Patrick
