[SOLVED] BSOD/Not Running Well After New CPU Motherboard + RAM

you said before BlueRobot that you would just want me to run the BSOD collection tool again instead of zipping the minidumps, if so there's been no errors since that and everything on there has been listed above.

For now it's fine, however, if you experience another crash (BSOD) then please use the collection tool.

I’m trying the ram test now and it says to change a value from 4 passes to 8 passes in tutorial that you linked me in the test selection phase, however I cannot see where to change this, in the picture I’m showing what is listed under Test selection

Would this test still be worth to carry out with the version I downloaded, it’s saying on the 6th test there’s 80 errors on the default test (Currently on phone)

You possibly downloaded a free trial version. Please stop running the test, and then re-run it for each individual RAM stick in each slot. It appears that either a RAM stick is faulty or even possibly the motherboard slot.

Thanks, would you still wait for the verifier test to be running for 48hrs first or do the RAM test now?

Okay thank you, so you would test each both sticks in every slot (1,2,3,4) individually then?

Also would you do the full test for every test, or just the 6th test that I got the errors in (I didn't get any errors with test 1-5, but didn't fully do the 8th test)

Thanks so much for trying to help, I really do appreciate it

Yes please, you'll be able to determine if a stick is bad or the slot is then.

Please run for the full 8 passes, if it fails before the last pass/test, then stop and then test again using the same stick in the other slot etc.

Thanks so much for trying to help, I really do appreciate it

No problem, we're here to help!

Your screenshot shows Memtest86 v4.3.7. You should be using version 8, which you can download here MemTest86 - Download now!

Version 8 is limited to 4 passes, but contains extra tests per pass than older versions, so it's more likely to find errors in those 4 passes

So after multiple tests it concludes that one of the sticks is broken (Supposedly brand new), I did a test with one of the RAM sticks on the 2nd and 4th slot with no errors, and the other stick on the 2nd and 4th slot which had thousands of errors. 7ea9369aea184f73b8e99b7f6ef42d93.png

Other test if you can spot anything else out of the ordinary

Looks like one your RAM sticks is bad, which isn't too uncommon unfortunately with new RAM, I would suggest contacting the seller and asking for a full refund or an exchange for the same RAM kit.
