BSOD when resuming from sleep -- Windows 7 x64

OK, here's the news:

I've set Virtual Memory to System Managed on C: (the VHD).

I've installed Hotfix for Windows (KB947821) and here's my CheckSUR.log

I haven't ran that MGADiag yet. Notice it doesn't mention SP1 being manually installed, or the failed updates, ie

So, because windows thinks sp1 is not installed, it's not offering the security updates? (My other builds have loads of updates).

This is a minor digression from the BSOD issue that I'm was hoping to identify the culprit cause of, before backing up, and using the sturdy, clean build as a base to redeploy bespoke builds, one for a DAW, one for DEV, one as my main workhorse, maybe one setup ready for redeployment on my SSD drive with TRIM et al set...

Going to sleep, to see if BSOD is still an issue, after installing sp1 using auto updates... don't want to, but seems necessary

OK, so since manually installing SP1 and then installing via windows update, the floodgate opened and I've installed all my security updates.

I think the only failures (listed) are historical (although a quick search of winupdateslist finds no mention of failed install KB2505438

I don't know if I can use that SURT thing KB947821 Can I uninstall the hotfix now SP1 is installed? (is that it's only purpose, re checksur.log ?

Will let my laptop sleep for a few hours, see if a blue screen occurs... other than that things see OK. ignoring the performance report (shame I can't update performance experience index via winsat @ cmd... only one of maybe 2 drawbacks of native vhd... see NB)

Service Pack Installed, monitoring for blue screen issues.

NB I don't know if memory.dmp is possible with native VHD config.
I think it will BS again if I connect my HDMI > DVI Extended External Display (next instability issue to try and solve :( ); if so I'll check for the existence of memory.dmps in windir (system managed virtual memory on C: )

Regards, Jonny

SURT doesn't really install per se, it's really just running. The whole point of the SURT is to diagnose Windows Update issues. As a result, there's nothing to actually uninstall.

Since SURT doesn't actually install itself, you can run it multiple times without any issue. It just adds the latest run to the end of the log.
