[SOLVED] Cannot upgrade to win10 keeps telling me to restart

Go to your motherboard's manufacturer website and download chipset drivers. Install them, reboot and afterwards, please attempt the upgrade again if it all goes well.

installed the chipset drtivers for my motherboard, still exited near the 33% mark, also manually downloaded my gpu drivers and it failed to update them

Theres two in the menu
longer one 1. HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182&REV_1003
shorter one 2. HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182

I installed the driver and i went back to the device manager and the device itself is gone, I cannot find it anymore in the device manager panel.

Ok I seem to have no logs of either this time around, in windows/panther/ there is no logs, and I enabled hidden files/folders. Should I run the installer again?

What's in the NewOs folder? Yes, go ahead and try again, but unplug any non-essential usb devices/printers and such from the computer and disconnect it from the network before the attempt.

Hi there so it seems that after of our hours of countless work it resulted to nothing mostly because i dont even think there was a fix. In the case that someone stumbles upon this forum and sees our work I want to share how I fixed all my problems.
I concluded that my windows was corrupt after:
1. Could not update my GPU drivers manually, or through GExperience.
2. Could not install driver software to devices not configured properly, devices that use to work (in this case it was my xbox controller, stopped working) said the device itself would not allow it to, some error code like that.
3. Could not install drivers at all to any unknown devices though i had the proper drivers.
4. jacks back/front mobo were not working - disappeared from volume mixer, also could not reinstall realtek manager as it was not even present in control panel.

My fix simply was reinstalling windows 7:
If you dont know your product key (as I lost mine) search online and theres a program thatll help you find your product key, by grabbing all keys on your pc currently.
Go to windows 7 media creation tool and download their iso, and simply write down your prod key. Make your usb bootable and put the win7 iso on there and install w/prod key
Theres a month delay until windows starts making sure your copy is genuine but you can speed that up by changing the dates.. make sure you research that. "How to find out your windows in genuine"
After you have certified your windows copy, install windows 10 and itll let you go.
I have upgraded from win7 to win10, if your pc fails like mine did on 34% then you might as well reinstall win7. Make sure if possible to back up your files.

Of course thank you for the help, it took me a while to try to fix this because of the despair slowly slowly setting in lol and i ran into many obstacles such as my USB ports not even installign the right drivers.

No problem. Sometimes a repair install is the best way to fix your issues, but I am reluctant to recommend it until I've really exhausted all other possible options. Glad it worked.
