Thank you so, so much. Your generosity is extremely kind, and it helps to keep the website running for another year :)

Thank you.

Part of the problem with the other forums is that fixing Windows Update/SFC issues is quite a specialised skill. It may not look too hard, but there aren't very many of us who can do it, and there are far too many forums for us to possibly help out at them all.

This is part of the reason I created SFCFix. I am currently weeding out the last few bugs, and manually creating scripts as a result. But in a few weeks time, I will flick a switch, and it will start automatically fixing SFC corruptions without any intervention from someone like me at all. Other forums will then be able to use it with minimal training, and I/others can intervene only for the more tricky cases. But it will cut out all of the simple cases, saving us a lot of time, and hopefully meaning we can help far more people across far more forums.

Yes, it is going to be a long, hard, and slow process, but I dream that one day, you and others like you will be able to fix problems similar to yours at many forums, not just a very select few.

(But for the record, Sysnative is the best! :p This is where we make all the tools, and train new helpers from, so even if I & some of the others go on holiday or whatever, there will still be someone around with the speciality you need, which may not be the same at another forum where they may only have one person trained (to a slightly lower level?).)
