Hello,
I would need some help to understand my administrative privileges on my laptop. I'm pretty new to W10.
And I would like to smooth out some "access denied" issues.
Thanks in advance
P.

Thank you for your reply.
I admit that my issue was finding out that Windows defender is under SYSTEM and no folder can be seen or even cleaned as it used to be.
At this stage, I'm asking myself "how can I feel in control of my laptop as I used to be in w8.1."

Sorry for whoever got it wrong, and suspected mean things/behaviours.

It's quite frustrating.

Most accesses are denied or under control of Trusted Installer or SYSTEM.
Well, I've hoped for some advise to see if, with my MCT of W10 install, I was in decent control of my old laptop, and could change (under instructions) some GPO policies.
I'm trying to learn, peacefully.
Thank you.

I have no idea. I upgraded my Win 10 last week to 19045.5608 and everything was owned by TrustedInstaller.
I am still trying to get full ownership of my system.
Indeed mine looks like this in attachment...

Thank you, @Corday. I will be 85yo in a coupla months and am very forgetful. I knew this but could not remember it. You refreshed my memory. I am now taking ownership of all my external drives (14) which are owned by "System". It was really getting really old having to give myself permission to change things on my own system.

Thank you @Corday for the helpful https://thegeekpage.com/gain-full-access-permissions-to-c-drive/
But I must have made some huge mess last evening, and now I find myself, once back from the lockscreen, with an Administrator guest (seen also through cmd net user).
I've tried hard, but unfortunately can't eliminate it, not even through the registry.
Yes, I'm at worse conditions than I waz before with the Ownership.
It's enormously frustrating.
Sorry
As last chance I've run a FRSt scan + .txt, and found skype still mentioned there.
This W10 it's driving me crazy.
Please, can I ask you for some help?
I'm attaching the logs for FRST and . txt

Feeling lost and deprecated by this W10 mess upgrade.
Waiting for your kind reply and supportive help.
