[SOLVED] corrupted files CBS / PANTHER

The setuperr.log is a file that logs errors encountered during the Windows upgrade/installation, that's it. You can use it to identify issues you're experiencing after an upgrade/install, but it doesn't indicate corrupt system files at all. Since SFC and DISM returned clean logs, your system files are intact.

Well I wouldn't know either right off the bat, I would have to investigate. If you want, you are free to pursue this in the Windows section, since Windows Update wise, you're good to go. And personally, I would disregard what these files said. I only use them to troubleshoot installations/upgrades that don't go throught or that end up incomplete :)

Alright :) I'll be marking this thread as solved now then!

If you wiped your hard drive, chances are that the malware isn't present anymore. It seems like you only have one corrupted payload. Follow the instructions below please.

DropBox returns an error saying that this file cannot be found. Can you please reupload it? Thank you!

Hi ydoodle :)

The reason why Dropbox returns an error saying that file wasn't found is because I move the files I used to assist a user here once I'm done with them, to manage my Dropbox properly. On a side note, my canned also specify that my fixes are specific to the system of the user I'm assisting and no one else but them should be running it. If you need assistance with a Windows Update-related issue, I'll gladly assist you :) Simply start a new thread in the Windows Update section and I'll be with you shortly.
